Casey Foundation, one of the most respected advocates for children nationwide, has a number of rich resources available on its website, including KIDS COUNT http://www.kidscount.org, a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children in the U.S that seeks to enrich local, state, and national discussions concerning ways to secure better futures for all children by providing policymakers and citizens with benchmarks of child well-being; and the Pathways To Outcomes project http://www.aecf.org/pathways, an extensive collection of information about "what works" to improve targeted outcomes for children and families.

Children’s Defense Fund
