Roberta Denning has been involved in the nonprofit world for over twenty years, as a volunteer and trustee of a number of nonprofit organizations. Her main focus has been on the Denning's own community, Greenwich, Connecticut, where she is currently the President of the Board of Greenwich Library. In addition, she previously served as Chair of The Historical Society of the Town of Greenwich and also Chair of the Greenwich Country Day School, where she also co-chaired the capital campaign, and as a Board member of the United Way of Greenwich. She is also a past member of the Leadership Council of the YWCA of Greenwich.

Roberta is a graduate of Stanford University with an AB in English and Honors in Humanities. She holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Prior to her nonprofit involvement, she was an executive in the publishing industry. She and her husband, Steven, have two children.
