One of the overarching goals of our work at Venture Philanthropy Partners is to share what we’ve learned. Therefore, we devote considerable resources to capturing, codifying, and sharing our experiences. We recognize that sharing these experiences is crucial for our own improvement and for our efforts to inspire others in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors.

Perceptions Matter: How VPP is Learning from Its Stakeholders is Venture Philanthropy Partners’ report on the results of the Massachusetts-based Chatham Group perception study, commissioned by VPP in the fall of 2008. The report details the findings of the study regarding VPP’s perceived value among its investment partners (IPs), as well as how VPP is acting on this feedback. The report confirms that VPP’s unique investment process is creating value for its IPs, offers insight into the factors that drive this value, and identifies areas for refinement.

VPP Performance Culture presents insights into the performance of VPP’s Portfolio One investment partners (IPs). The report is divided into two sections: the first offers a broad summary of VPP’s performance and the second describes each IP’s performance individually.
